About Global Health Otherwise
Global Health Otherwise is a movement redefining how global health is imagined, practiced, and led. We challenge conventional narratives that marginalize voices and reinforce inequities, building a fairer, more inclusive ecosystem. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, and changemakers, we champion humility, shared ownership, and learning from lived experience.
Our work reimagines equity, decolonization, and accountability as daily practices—questioning whose knowledge counts and how impact is defined. We make equity real in research, funding, and implementation through thought leadership and collaboration.
We believe the world urgently needs a new generation of global health leaders—visionary, ethical, and equipped to solve the problems of their times. This demands rethinking and demystifying innovation, and embracing entrepreneurship not as external to global public health, but as its new normal—essential for designing solutions that are context-driven, sustainable, and transformative for communities everywhere.
