Oluwaseun Adewunmi

Oluwaseun Adebayo Adewunmi, MBBS, MPH, is a medical doctor and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate in Planetary Health at Nagasaki University, Japan.

His work sits at the intersection of global public health, mental health, emergency preparedness, and decolonial knowledge systems. He is particularly interested in challenging global health paradigms that marginalise or tokenise African and Indigenous knowledge, and in advancing equitable, community-centred approaches to research, policy, and practice.

He has worked with academic institutions, non-profit organisations, and emergency response initiatives across Africa and internationally, and is committed to knowledge democratisation and justice-oriented global health.
