Dr. Gift Malunga is a seasoned global health leader with extensive experience advancing gender equality, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and youth empowerment across Africa.

She recently served as UNFPA Country Representative in Zambia, Namibia and Uganda, Dr. Malunga has dedicated her career to strengthening rights-based, inclusive health systems and policies that improve outcomes for women, young people, and marginalized communities. Her leadership spans multisectoral program design, community engagement, and strategic partnerships aimed at reducing teenage pregnancy, addressing maternal health inequities, and expanding access to quality health services.
