Prof. Seye Abimbola
Seye Abimbola was born and raised Nigeria. He is a professor at the School of Public Health, University of Sydney, Australia. He has lectured, researched, and written extensively on epistemic practices in health systems. In 2020, he was awarded the Prince Claus Chair in Equity and Development at Utrecht University, the Netherlands for his work on justice in health research. He was the founding editor in chief of BMJ Global Health (2015-2024). His book, a collection of essays titled “The Foreign Gaze” was published in 2024.
